00:42 - Remove the oil filter
01:24 - Screw the new filter into its place. Use a ratchet wrench.
01:32 - Use a drive socket No.17. Use a ratchet wrench. Unscrew the drain plug
01:46 - Drain the used oil
01:57 - Set the drain plug in place and tighten it. Use a drive socket No.17. Use a ratchet wrench.
02:05 - Clean the area around the drain hole
02:12 - Open the hood
02:31 - Fill the engine with oil through the oil filler
02:56 - Run the engine for a few minutes
03:04 - Check the oil level 5 minutes after the stop of the engine operation using a dipstick and add oil if necessary
03:20 - Close the hood

First open the main filler tap, drain oil, remove filter, install filter filled with oil and gasket lubed
, install drain plug.Then put oil in engine and start. After inspect for leaks and pressure light off. After 1 minute
shut off engine and top up until max in the deepstick.

what I would only add is to put new drain plug.
All he did was mess up the new filter.

Hello! have you guys made a video for transmission oil change for a swift 1.3L bensin with 5 speed manual transmission? ive been looking around and i need to know the size of the tool (bit) required to remove the filler plug and drain plug

Just booked my suzuki swift in to get new oil filter and oil change for next week every car ive had the engine has gone but i was told its down to never changing the oil in my cars how much miles between each oil and filter change should you do??

That's the old Swift...I thought that one stopped being for sale in 2018. I guess in the UK it wasn't...
It was stopped in 2018. But there's still loads about even today more than the newer ones. Especially the garbage 1.2 cvt🤣
@@diannecrawford9996 I agree the 1.2 is crap due to the fact is built in India...on the contrary the ZC33S is *only* built in Japan hence offers better quality even though both cars might look the same from a distance.

So u changed the oilfilter before draining the oil
u didnt put oil around the new airfilter before installing, just letting a drop on it

yep my same thoughts... i prefer to drain all the oil and then the filter, plus i wet the gasket with the oil filter before tightening in back!
